Resigned from my job due to having high blood pressure can I claim Unemployment benefits
I quit my job due to a reduction in hours without in formal notice. I filled unemployment. The disqualified me so I applealed the decision. I hired a lawyer to work on my behalf. I'm into the 7 month of filling unemployment and I have yet to have a hearing because my former employer keeps changing the hearing dates. She my former employer is trying to say she fired me but its un- true. I very discourage because I thought this would have been over months ago. I have provided my lawyer with all of the evidence. He sent over a letter to my former employers lawyer to try and negotiate this so I can get my money but they state she will not sign. What do I do?
I live in Georgia I quit my job and they allowed me to receive unemployment benefits. There must be a good reason for you to quit and you must prove that the job was causing unnecessary stress. My employer was always late paying us and sometimes there would be no just reason why we were always late getting paid or the pay dates were always changing. We had informed the State Hour and Wage Division of this and I maintain my papers that I received from each government entity that I wrote or had contact with and I won my case to get unemployment benefits. So yes if you quit for a good reason you should be able to get unemployment.
I had to leave my privately rented house as my landlord wanted the property back, myself & my son then had to move back in with my parents. It is no longer viable to stay with them, I am employed & my employers are not able to give me a transfer to enable me to move away. The only place I we will have to live is my sisters who lives in a different part of the country, if I leave my employer to move away will I receive any benefits.
I have been with my job 6 years and I'm relocating to another state. I have had problems at work such as stress and being sick ..I work in a very cold environment seem I'm always getting colds and or flu. Of course I will search for work ..but just wondering if I can collect until I find employment
If I resign from my job after a month investigation, can I apply for unemployment benefits in California. They found nothing on me but e-mails that contained nothing big and use of internet. I have been working for a school district for 11 years. I had made complaints with my union and the day we had the meeting they postponed it and the next day I was called and put on paid administrative leave. Now my union rep is suggesting I resign and collect unemployment. Is this true can I collect. Please let me know. Thank You!
I was laid off my job back in October of 2009 and started to work for another company right away. In March of this year I had to quit because my husbands job moved to another state and he would be out of a job if he didnt take it. He makes more money than me. Can I get unemployment from my previous job that laid me off? I'm really worried as to fear of my bills are coming due quickly. Any advise please help.
You should get unemplyment if you quit or your hours get cut from work. My job is stressful, I depend on my mom to take me, and gas isn't cheap, I'm on call a lot, and once I showed up for work and I had to wait four hours to clock in. Can I get paid for those four hours that I missed. They didnt even call me and tell me that they didnt need me at that certain time.
As I suffer from multiple sclerosis and finding work too tiring and stressful
Yes, If you have no job then you can apply for unemployment benefits. But be sure that you have to give reasons for quiting the job. It can be considered for a few times but if you do it on regular basis, it can be a problem for you.
You can but you better have a good reason why you left. Rules are it has to be no fault of you own.
No you cannot get it you should have got fired show up late all the time curse out the boss or something than you are guaranteed it
My husband is being reassigned to Fort Bliss Tx. I have worked at my job for 11 years and I have to quit to go with him. Do I qualify for unemployment
They will investigate your quitting and make a decision and if you quit because of a work-related or medical reason you may qualify still.
I need at least 10 hours per day to do my job. I am 64 years old and can't do this anymore
I have been under doctors care for high blood pressure and heart palpitations due to stress. Can I resign due to getting stressed out from worK?
Yes you can qualify for the unimployment but you need to report the government. And you also need to clear all your dues from your current organization.
