I am suffering from deep depression after my heart attack. The doctor says I may not return to the job I had. It may be months before I can work again. I may not ever work again. He isn't sure at this point. If I have to quit my job would I be eligible for any benefits.

You would need a very good excuse why you quit. States have a list of good reasons for those who do quit, you will need one of those reasons thats on the list. All states have a different list.

I was called to the director of operations office on Tuesday Dec 2, 2009.
My position with the company was plant manager.
Present for the meeting was the the director, head of HR and myself.
I was told he was going to terminate me. Verbal reasons given were not meeting goal to get a cab line up and going on time. Also failure to follow company policy.
First, getting the cab line on time, a total of four weeks were lost due to fixtures not ready and parts not available to the line. The fixtures were set on the floor but not ready for production. This was due to lack of understanding from the engineering department.
