Yes, you can receive unemployment after being fired for attendance! I was fired for calling in too many times but I was @ my job for almost 3 yrs. When I had my unemployment phone interview I told them that I was having car problems/no reliable transportation, witch is the same thing I told my employer...just make sure that you DO NOT lie. The unemployment office will contact your old job to  make sure that your story adds up...

  HOPE THIS HELPS....GOOD LUCK!

If you can blame your children for missing work...then yes...they have to pay you.
Your children are the only reason they will let you off.
But, then you would have discussed this with your employer who cannot fire you
if you are not able to get to work because of your children.

If you do not have children, you are not going to get anything...why would you want
it anyway.
You have to show a good work history or they won;t pay you.

No you can find another job if you are fired from a job due to attendance. But this is a bad image on your career if you are fired from your job due to short attendance on the job. However if you will apply with this status so there are more chances to will be unemployed for more period of time, so this can be the reason for your unemployment. You have only one way to get rid of this status that is do not show your experience in the job for which you are applying. Just
