I just hung up the phone from talking with a representative from the number listed online at my customer service unemployment site for NC. I asked if there was a chance to continue to receive money since my tier 4 has come to and end and all my benefits are exhausted. The man said that since congress has passed the recent bill extending benefits bill, a plan was already in the works to find ways of helping us who have exhausted all our tiers, through another program. He said I should keep on trying to file my weekly info each week. Since he said “through another program” I asked again that he explain. He said it is in the works right now. I am encouraged! His voice sounded cheerful about it.
