Yeah, I was laid off and still haven't received a check! It's been 11 weeks!!! Anyone in Washington State experiencing this?
Why Is My Unemployment Decision Taking So Long To Decide?
The unemployment offices are very backed up do to the economy, They have a numerous ammount of people unemployed. The operator who answers the telephone works in a totally separte office than the person handling your claim. The operator only has a minimum of information about your claim. Be patient they will get back with you. If the claim representative does not contact you back this means they have no questions to ask and the decision should be made within ten business days, this could also take longer due to the economy.
I filed my claim at the end of October... I got a letter saying I was eligible, but it still continues to say that TWC is reviewing my claim. I have now been waiting eight weeks to receive my payments. How much more longer do you think I will have to wait??
