I don't know what that dude is talking about, Cause I live in Michigan and have been on UIA since 2007. So far I ran through the regular weeks and got the bush 13 week extension, Then I got the EUC which in MI is 33 weeks plus an additional 13 weeks(split off into two tiers), The last one was the EB which only kicked in when we went over 5% Unemployed. If I count correctly that is already 3 extensions, and what pres is in office has absolutely nothing to do with it! Futhermore if you do a little research you will find that an extension is about to be voted on by the House and Senate this week, So to answer your question YES! Michigan will most likely get a 13 week extension along with 20 or so other States. Plus if you are in training or school The Michigan Senate is also voting to extend benifits Soon! Heres a couple links to help you out.
