Will Florida Have A Tier 4 Unemployment Extension?

Yes, Florida has a Tier IV Unemployment Extension. I have been on it since I ran out of Tier III benefits on 02/06/10. I was automatically enrolled in Tier IV at that time. BTW, you know which Tier you are on based on the EUC Monetary Determination letter that is mailed to you BEFORE you receive any benefits for a particular Tier. At this point, there are no Tier V benefits available after Tier IV, but who knows what the Federal politicians will do next?....

How do you know what "Tier" you are on??  In Florida I had a stop/start again but on the check statements it NEVER SAYS what Tier I am on or when it will end.  It is extremely hard to plan your bill payments without knowing, until it stops, what is going on.  Do you have to writer and ask what Tier extension you are on?  Big problem is things are not explained on your check's statements....only tells you to go on-line on a certain date.  Sometimes you go on line to claim weeks and find there is nothing there to claim.  POOR COMMUNICATION TO RECIPANTS!

I am on tier three in kansas. I am concerned also about your question. In doing research, I see that florida will have a tier 4 for those individuals who run our of tier three no later than febuary 27(deadline)
for kansas, they are not saying yet. We started our tier three in january. Formed had to be returned to ue office by dec 22. So if the application deadlines are different from state to state I would think that the end of tier three will also vary from state to stater, thus the beginning of tier four will also vary from state to state.

With this last extension that past on 4-15-2010, does anyone know if florida is back on the extended benefits?? Last time I checked on Monday the 19th they were the only state that didn't get back on.
