I Have Not Received My Unemployment Check And I Cannot Get Through To The Unemployment Office What Do I Do?

I missed my schedule time to file and tried calling marvin today but it would not process it is there a number I can call

People, contact your state representatives ... Your District Reps. In State Senate ... Call their offices, explain your issue ... They have a special legislative email process ... EDD has to respond to them ... Try it!

I don't understand why it takes so long. If this were their only source of income it would be on time. Bet their paychecks aren't late. The unemployed have bills to pay too. I would rather them just tell me right away that I don't qualify than have to wait and them tell me after 2 months of waiting. I am calling today because Its been a month and according to the website a check was processed a week ago and still no direct deposit. Wish I knew what to do, I am wondering that myself.
