Why Have I Stopped Receiving My Unemployment Checks?

My son did not get his unemployment check he is away he asked me to be sure to do it for him I did not know that he needed a pin number so I had to send it out in the mail for him he usually gets it on thursday it did not come I feel like I failed him I did send it overnight mail would you be able to let me know sue

It happened to me as well, I finally got through and was told I was disqualified during a re-determination! My employer fought it back in dec and I received benefits until the end of feb when I was suddenly informed that I would not get a check during certification on marvin. Now they want it all paid back! Of course I sent in an appeal but GOD ONLY KNOWS how long that will take. From my perspective my former employer fought this in dec and a decision was not made until the end of feb! This is a horrible system!

Most unemployment checks run for about 6 months.  How long have you been receiving yours?  You should call or email your local unemployment office.

Did you forget to file once, or how long have you been on it, your weeks might have run out, and you need to file for an extension. This could be the reason. Hope this helps, good luck to you, and call them.
