As with most banks and bank accounts, checking on various details of one's BDO account, including the balance or status of savings, requires customers to be signed on for the online facilities. This is a vital part of data protection and ensures that only the account holder is able to access his or her personal information.
In order to sign on for the BDO online facilities, customers have to go either to the BDO home page , where the necessary steps to enroll are detailed, or directly to the Log in page .
Once there, it is necessary to click on 'Enrol Now'. The customer is then required to fill in the Login Information, as well as a Client profile and the Account Enrolment pages. It is important to check the boxes by the Phone and Mobile Banking options.
The next step is to click 'Submit' on the Acknowledge Enrolment page, which will result in an Enrolment Form being displayed. This form has to be printed out and sent immediately to any BDO branch.
In due process, the customer will receive an e-mail confirming the activation of their Internet Banking account.
It is also possible to view the application status by going to the Log in page , entering the chosen username and password, checking the 'User with Pending Application' box and then clicking 'Log In'.
Once their internet banking account has been activated, users are able to view their balance and transaction history. It will also be possible to perform a variety of transactions, including money transfers, payment of bills, ordering new checks, stopping payments of checks, etc, from here.
Mobile users are able to access their account via their mobile by typing m.mybdo.com.ph/ into their mobile browser and then logging in.
