Has anyone tried to call the Colorado workforce office yet for the answer to this question? I tried for hours to get a person on the phone with no luck. Their website only says that it is "working on it". For those of us that need to budget, even a date range would be a welcome relief. Will it start in November, December, January? Will it come in time to help me pay my December rent? How about in time to buy a few Christmas presents for my kids? They knew this legislation was coming, how about just putting up accurate and complete information on the website?

I just got off the phone with the Federal Department of Labor. They did some checking and found out that Colorado EUC Tier III would be paid beginning December 21, 2009. They also added one additional week to tier II paying that out on December 14, 2009. I spoke with the most helpful woman who did all this fact checking and then called me back to confirm this information. She said letters were coming out at some point, I have not received anything yet. Colorado apparently has a very outdated com

I finally got through to the CO dept of labor today and I'm glad I did. There is a deadline date of December 21. You have to exhaust your benefits by that date to qualify for the extended. Its important to call them on or before the 20th or 21st to get in the system without a delay. The way I understood this, if you dont call, you have to re-open your claim. Their instructions online of continuing to call CUBline is wrong and wont do any good. Nice if they would let us know the whole story.

BLAH... BLAH BLAH....They have only paid a handful of people, they just do not want to pay out the money... I have researched it and they have been handing out the same excuse's for over a year "their computers don't work." or "you appear to be eligible for other benefit's." or "we are so busy" or "the federal goverment just released the money" they are reading from answer forms to keep people from storming there office's I imagine if Arnold was the governer he would stop the workforce employees pay till they did their jobs than we would all be paid by friday.

I spoke to EUC Customer Service on Dec. 15th, the woman told me that  nothing needs to be done to move into tier 3 and to keep filing as normal. They are still trying to update the system and will payout beginning now until the end on the month. Not very helpful but at least it is something.

Mine arrived 9 days late. Filed two weeks on sunday 1/3/2010, and was due to be paid to me on tuesday 1/5/2010. Instead, it came 9 days later, just arrived yesterday thursday 1/14/2010. I will update this post this coming tuesday 1/19/2010 to see if they shift me a week after that, pay more now, or what - I already file again this Sunday for my next two weeks.

My extended unemployment will run out in April 2010.  Does anyone know if there will be another extension and who will be eligible?  What are people to do if there is no more extensions?  I will loose my home and everything else I own.

I also received my payment on my cap card today!!I called cub line and chose the  payments dispersed, account balance  option they said a payment was dispersed 12/09/09.  I called chase and its was on my card after 300pm today 12/10/09.  I havent received a letter yet. So keep checking with cubline and bank. Not  necessarily the mail. By the way my account balance had been expired since second week of november but I kept calling cub line as instructed and I received all payments at once! Hang in there!!Its really here!
