What Is The Latest Update On Senate And Unemployment Extension?

Here we go again Congress!  I don't get this, how do you all sleep at night knowing that so many people are sick with worry about taking care of their families and themselves?! Just how? I personally can say that I've applied for jobs at many different levels and many different states-but NO ONE seems to be hiring on accepting applications. My benefits just stopped completely and I still had some monies left to draw off of. Now, understanding why-I'm really upset when were we going to be notified that they stopped!? When?! I don't know about others but I budget my unemployment check to fit my life and I never planned this mess. I'm so scared right now NO INCOME-THAT IS JUST SCARY FOR ME!! EVERYDAY I PRAY FOR GOD TO HELP US OUT OF THIS SITUATION! I TRY NOT TO SHOW MY EMOTIONS TO MY KIDS SO FAR SO GOOD! BUT SOMETIMES WHEN IT HITS ME  I RUSH TO MY ROOM OR TO THE BATHROOM TO WIPE MY EYES. I'VE BEEN WORKING SINCE I WAS 13 YEARS OLD-SO DON'T THINK I DON'T GET THE CONCEPT OF WORKING CRITICS. It's not like we are just sitting around being lazy man! It called unemployment which means we've had a job even some of us had more than one job at the same time. Nobody is looking for handouts we just need assistance until this suckey economy gets a bit better. They say unemployment rates have gone up-I know that's a lie! I know people who just got layed off and the company they worked for is still laying off!

This is again the Republicans stopping the unemployment for the”"We The People Working Population”" Remember to receive unemployment you have to have WORKED….they seem to forget this or are just uninformed..They are again out of touch with US they need to be VOTED OUT OF OFFICE WE NEED TO SEND A CLEAR MESSAGE.. If we can do this one thing..We Will Be Heard. I am making flyers to post at Walmart’s Grocery Stores Corner Stores. EVERY PERSON NEEDS TO DO THIS We The People are Sick and Tired of seeing our hard earned money go to the big businesses.. The Republicans have sent a clear message…We Do Not Care that you have gone 4 to 8 weeks with NO MONEY…We do not care you do not have FOOD FOR YOUR CHILDREN We do not care that YOU HAVE LOST YOUR HOMES AND APARTMENTS. We do not care you have had to move in with family and friends………WE NEED TO VOTE ALL Republicans OUT OF OFFICE..WE NEED TO TELL THEM WE DO NOT CARE THAT THEY WILL BE OUT OF JOBS………………THE TIME HAS COME FOR US TO BE HEARD
I know we are all hurting but the Republicans have hurt the wrong PEOPLE THIS TIME...We The People...As much as we are hurting WE NEED TO SHOW THE POWER WE STILL HAVE====VOTE VOTE VOTE NO MATTER WHAT..MAKE SURE TO VOTE ALL Republicans OUT..THIS WILL ALSO SEND A MESSAGE  TO THE DEMOCRATES. TO GET THINGS IN LINE...WE STILL HAVE POWER..

Nothing is the answer as of today at 12:20 PM.  According to Channel 7, WXYX TV in Detroit, extension requests are all over effective 02/28/2010 unless the Congress/Senate does something about it next week when they get back from their break.  

I got my notice in the mail from the State of Michigan today stating the same.... And they went one step further.  My notice from the State says that Extended Benefits are payable for those that qualify for an extension by 2/28/2010 or that are currently receiving them through the end of March and they are all done.  I think my notice said 3/27/2010.

Very scary times we are in right now.  My wife and I are BOTH unemployed and can't find anything, even part time.  What we will do in a few short weeks has both of us rather concerned.

Well iam married and both me and my husband can't fine jobs we look about every day and call but stii nothing.and both un employments ran out in the past two years we,v lost are jobs and the home we lived in and lost things we was buying cause money ran out
