Scan the site for a contact email address, or if you require the status more urgently, a hotline number. To use Texas as an example again, you are required to register with the site before you can check on your claim. They do also have a page for contact information.
Once you are registered, you will be able to check the status of your claim. If you are calling them, you will be expected to provide your name, date of birth, address and social security number to confirm your identity. If you are unable to provide this information, they will not be allowed to let go of the information under America’s data protection laws.
Once your identity has been confirmed you will be able to check the status of your claim.
The key is to try to be as precise as possible. They may need to know the date you filed your claim. If per chance you notice an irregularity, let them know immediately. Unfortunately human error is something that still occurs even in this day and age when everything is handled by technology. They may not have noticed, so unless you remind them, they might never.
I've already filed my claim & still haven't heard anything or got a check. Can someone please tell me why or what I can do? Also, if you are fired from a job can you still get unemployment?

We just have to wait because no one at this critical time don't know. The representative at the unemployment office when I call no one gives me a positive answer. This I believe that as long as we put in our claims we just have to hold on patience. Definately in July we all will get our checks. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
