How Can I Track An Amended State Tax Return?

How about this. I submitted an emended State return on November 12, 2009, for my 2008 taxes. To this day I still have not received my $994.00 refund, nor have I received any correspondence from the State of California regarding the status of my return (it's been over 3 months now!). My Tax consultant told me they are not sending ANY Tax refunds and that I just need to keep trying to reach someone at the Tax Advocate!!!

What recourse do we have as tax payers and State Citizens? It's impossible to get reach a live human from the State Tax payer Advocate, other than a recording that suggests you call another number to pay what you might owe them!!???

And they wonder why crime is on the rise. Maybe crime has increased because no one is honest these days, not even the government!!

Status on amended tax return

If I sent my amended tax return Feb15  should I have received it by now?

I filed a amended tax return I mailed it feb.13.they sent it back and I mailed the documents they needed.its been two weeks when will I receive it.

It's my understanding that they don't process/issue refunds on amended returns until ALL the initial returns have been processed. That may vary by state, it is true for the feds. So, I would not be holding my breath. I've filed amended returns for both this year, and I am assuming, based on what I've been told, that I might see money in June.

My amended was mailed last month so when can I receive my check

If I mailed my amends Feb 8th 2009 for tax season year 2008. Should I have already relieved it

I have file a 2006 amended form and can I receive it and pay after  I get it. Thank you
