I am one of the unfortunate millions unemployed, living in North Carolina. My Tier 4 benefit is about to run out, and I want to know what the government is going to do to take care of me and all the others like me who cannot find work in a country that is still laying off people? Companies and payrolls are shrinking, so how does it make sense to think that there are jobs to be gotten?
I was laid off two years ago from a good medical transcription job because the job was outsourced to India. The guts to my computer are in India also, as the person I was speaking with regarding lost records and files didn't speak English and he deleted all my medical files. How does it sound right that my job was taken right from under my nose, but unemployment benefits are gone. Where am I supposed to get money to pay rent, and maybe find something to eat?

Obama care has to be passed first, that is the #1 point. After that if unemployment numbers are the same or rising then yes

Its amazing how the attempts to extend unemployment benefits have been blocked but congress is helpless when trying to stop this,

"Coburn vowed to try to block any spending bill the rest of the year that isn't offset, which will include the $33 billion supplemental measure the Pentagon has requested to pay for operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. Although he is unlikely to succeed in blocking the military measure, Coburn said he hopes his stand draws increased attention to the deficit issue. "
