What Are The Total Weeks Than Can Be Collected In California Unemployment?

I'm collecting Calif you.I. Payments and with your two extensions you can get up to 79 weeks total. When the first claim ends you don't even need to do anything. You will get the last check from your 1st claim and about a week later you will get a letter telling you if your still eligible or not. The only problem I had was I did lose a weeks benefits. I've worked for the last 35 years and this is the first time I ever been with out a job. At my age no one wants me.
