If an employee failed to show up for work and txt messages two hours late and says they are coming in then goes back to sleep and when you contact them 1 hour later and they say they will be in and then they call you about an hour later and they say they are not coming in and you give them 3 days off without pay, then, the next Tuesday, they txt you and say they are not coming in can you legally terminate their employment without them being awarded unemployment?
