What are the costs once the employee has been laid off. I understand we contribute while the employee is still working. But what does it cost once they have left. I also understand that UI benefits are approximate 45% of base weekly pay. So does the employer pay the entire amount or is some load carried by what was contributed during the employee's term of employ?
