You can not collect Unemployment in jail do to you having to be ready willing and ABLE not work if your locked up you are not able to except employment there for not able to collect any money .

It would probably depend on your ability to be on work release. If you are in a work release facility and actively looking for a job I believe you qualify.
In the State of Wyoming, you would not be eligible to unemployment. You must be available and or actively looking for work to receive unemployment benefits.

Are you unemployed BECAUSE you're in Jail, or were you unemployed before you went to jail? Were you fired from your job or laid off, or did you quit your job? If you lost your job because you went to jail then the answer is definitely No.
