If PA is like Ohio...I'm on unemployment in Ohio..it isn't really based on the hrs that you work, but on the amount that you are payed. They deduct the part time pay from the amount of unemployment. If you make more than the unemployment pays for that week, then you may have to re-open your claim the following week, as they may consider that you returned to work full-time, when you didn't.
Oh, I hope that I'll never face unemployment, because this is the most terrible condition for a modern person. Every time I got fired or quit my job, I was always quick to find another option with jooble. And this is really what helped me not to live in poverty every time. Naturally, I have a financial cushion just in case, but I try not to use it.
