The divisional form is the organisational structure that cut across functional lines and, instead, organizes according to outputs. Typically it is more customer focused. Hence, each division is responsible for a different set of customers, products, geographical markets, etc. The divisional form is good for coordinating organisational activities across functions, especially in unstable or dynamic environment.
