There are several ways you can check the balance on your bank card, whether it's a credit card or a debit card. The most popular methods are: online, on the phone, or at an ATM machine or bank.
The most convenient way to check your balance is to do it online. Some banks may ask you to set up online banking before you can do this, though. You may also need a little device, which you can pick up from your bank or order over the phone.
If you can't figure out how to sign into your account online, the best thing to do is call your bank instead. They can tell you your balance on the phone (once you've confirmed you're who you say you are, of course!) and can help you set up internet banking while you're at it.
Most ATM machines, or tellers, will give you the chance to view your balance when you insert your card and enter your PIN number!
