To everyone here who appears to have claim issues, first call your agent!   They sold you the policy it is also their job to assist with the claims.   If you don't know who your agent is anymore or they are no longer with Aflac call Aflac WWHQ in Georgia.   The customer service reps in Georgia can assist you with your claims. They can also give you the name and phone number for your agent or a sales office in your local area for future reference.

I want to know why it takes alflac so long to pay a claim?
And they will tell you that you have one coverage, and when filing a claim they come back telling you that you have to have a rider to file this. Why not explain all of this to you at the time you purchase the insurance. The other thing is the young man that I contacted about my claim said that he was only helping out one day and now he's listed as the agent when contact him he doesn't know anything about the claim. Now where do I go from here.
Need an answer please.

Injury - Massive right rotator cuff tear on 7/1/2009  Claim form, test results/reports, & bills faxed to Aflac about a week or more ago.  Need status please.

Go to Aflac.com, Policy Holder Services, enter your information or call 1-800-Go-Aflac and follow promps, claims, but be patient, the last one is "Do You Want to Talk to Somebody".

You can also call your local AFLAC office and ask that an agent assist you with the completion of filing your claim.  Once they take the time in helping you, you may want to thank them by giving them some business referrals.  Helping with claims should be any AFLAC agents primary responsibility. I hope your claim is taken care of promptly.   Sacramento, Ca.
