For checking your Maryland unemployment CitiBank balance online, visit the official website of CitiBank.

Log in with your user name and password and if you have not done so before, register yourself with the website. Choose a user name and password that cannot be guessed easily.

Then the next step would be to register your card. You will have to provide some of the information of your card.

You will have to provide to the site your zip code, your card number and the security code.

Once you have registered or if you have already registered your card online on the CitiBank website, you can directly go to the link where you can find out the balance on your card.

For checking the balance, you will have to provide your card number and the safety pin number to the site and you will be prompted to a page, which will show you the amount you have in your card.

While checking your balance online, make sure of a few things. Never leave the official web page opened after using it. Always sign out from the site after you have finished using it even if it is at home.

Choose a password that cannot be easily speculated by anyone. Keep the password saved in a safe file, and do not keep the exact password either.

Writing down a hint that can make you remember the password will be good. Don't write down a hint that can be guessed by anyone else like your pet's name or your date of birth.

Online banking has made the checking of balances and transactions very easy for everyone. The only thing that has to be kept in mind is the proper following of instructions so that nothing goes amiss.

You can do it through the Citibank website. You need your user name and password to do this. If you lost your password, you can click on 'forgot your password' and get it reset. If you don't have a user name or can't log in to your account, you could ask customer service for help - the number is 1-800-582-4910.
