Yes you can apply for unemployment benefits if you were fired because of long term disability. It was no fault of your own. The company fired you because of no good reason except your disability which is no fault of your own.
If I get long term disability n got fired from my job can I get my unemployment
Long Term Disability? Is this something that happened at work? If so, consult an attorney as it may be that your employer is trying to get out of being sued for something they truly are responsible for.
If it is something that happened away from work, did you apply for a leave of absence or anything of the sort? If so, then you are fully delegable for unemployment. Call your local unemployment office (do a web search and it will give you contact info) and get things rolling.

If I am getting long term disability could I also receive my unemployment benefits.
If you're working and collecting LTD, you might be in violation of the law. Best to clam up, collect your LTD and view your situation as a simple pay cut.
You either can work or you can't....you can not have unemployment and disability. Simple as that! If you file for unemployment and Social Security or LTD finds out, your benefits could be denied or cut!
Can I be on LTD and still work? Will I have to repay benefits from LTD if I work for an employer and get a W-2 at the end of the year?
