It is next to impossible to call in and get a live person. The best way is to go to a career one stop job center and explain your problem to them they have a direct phone (I have had a couple of big mix ups with edd and the folks at the one stop job center got me connected to a supervisor who fixed the problems while I was on the line). The job center by me is swamped so expect a long wait and go early. I have found the best thing to do is go to www.edd.ca.gov and under the unemployment tab select contact us and then go to the e-mail link its there in the paragraph just look for it. You can select a category including other if nothing really fits and then type in your question I've done this a few times successfully to resolve some errors in my edd records that were delaying my check so try it. Be sure to type your name social security number and date of birth at the beginning of the message (its a secured site) otherwise they will send you an email telling you they can't locate your file without that information. Take a deep breath relax and Good Luck
