The Finance and Marketing Departments of an organization are two very important departments. The Marketing Department is responsible for the promotion and advertising of all the products of a company and the company itself whereas the Finance department is responsible for the overall financial administration of the company which includes keeping track of all the expenses, budgeting, releasing funds for different projects, making investments of surplus money etc.
The main conflict between these two departments arises when there is need for money for marketing department. The Finance department is concerned about the performance of the Marketing department considering the expenses they have made. So it is very difficult for marketing people to convince finance people to give them more funds.
