This is an extremely vague question as there are millions of different branches of Capital One bank across North America and Europe. The routing number allows you to make wire transfers to your bank or from one customer's bank account to another. Each number is unique to that particular bank or the account itself or even the region, for example, the routing number for  the Mid-Atlantic region of The USA, which includes Maryland, Virginia, DC, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and West Virginia is 255071981, so obviously there is a vast array of numbers out there around the world.
The best thing to do if you don't know your number is to look on your documentation, either a cheque-book, a paying-in book or a statement should have the number printed on them. On a cheque-book, for example, the number is on the bottom left hand corner of all the cheques. If you don't have any of these documents to hand or don't own a cheque-book you can always drop in to your local branch. Customer services should be able to inform you of the number in a matter of minutes and at the same time save you from occurring a large amount of late fees due to the fact that you have not been able to transfer money. Failing this you could always call the national enquiry number and inform them of which branch you hold an account at. They should be able to inform you of the number with no trouble at all.
