I live in Nova Scotia, Canada and need a loan to pay some out standing bills, but I have bad credit?

This is only an idea here. Maybe you should check with a bill consolidation company that works with your creditors to bring down what you owe so you can handle the monthly payments and you give the company 1 monthly check and they dispose of it accordingly.  

Now you don't want to miss a payment as creditors really hate this and may sue you for collections or if you have no choice you can always declare bankruptcy but use that as a very last resort.  Good luck

You can do what I did in 2009. I got a second job, while my son was a freshman in high school. I had over $11k to pay off. He and I made an agreement - no eating out, no asking for unneeded stuff, cut out on the cable / phone bill. Here's our goal that we're trying to reach. Working together (by not whining about the budget), we reached our goal in 18 months. I wasn't home much - he had to ask for rides a lot from school (we were out of district so he couldn't ride the bus), but it was all worth it. 

So you might consider this option as you try and work through this problem. Good luck.
