State Bank of India customers can register for internet banking services at their bank.

OnlineSBI can generate an account statement for a date range for any of
your accounts. The statement includes transaction details, opening,
closing and accumulated balance in the account.
The log in for Personal Accounts is here:

retail.onlinesbi.com/retail/login.htm

and for Corporate Accounts here:

It's quite simple to check your SBI account online.

First, go to the State Bank of India's website:

https://www.onlinesbi.com

Next, depending on whether you are an individual customer or a business customer, select the button Personal Banking Login or Corporate Banking Login.

If you're an individual, at this point, you'll be asked to view a screen about security before clicking through to provide your  username and password. Once you hace supplied these details you will be logged in and able to check your SBI account(s).

If you're a business customer, you must negotiate an additional screen. Here, you'll be asked to make a choice from a number of transaction products and enquiry products. Once you've selected the products you're looking to log into, you will be asked to enter your username and password.

In order to view your SBI account online, you will need to register for online banking, either in your local branch, or by visiting the New User Details page.

Once you have signed up successfully there, you will be able to view your account by logging in at https://retail.onlinesbi.com/retail/login.htm#

When you are logged into your account you will get access to the following features:

  • Issue Demand Drafts online
  • Transfer funds to own and third party accounts
  • Credit beneficiary accounts using the VISA Money Transfer, RTGS/NEFT feature
  • Generate account statements
  • Setup Standing Instructions
  • Configure profile settings
  • Use eTax for online tax payment
  • Use ePay for automatic bill payments
  • Interface with merchants for railway and airline reservations
  • Avail DEMAT and IPO services
Online banking is a very useful feature so it is well worth signing up for.

Sometimes banks need to send secure passwords by post, so you may not be able to log into your account right away, but they are usually quick to send details through so you should not have to wait long.
