I have to agree with the above answer. Also, you aren't going to get a card until you have had a steady job for quite some time, not a bunch of different jobs, and you have to show that you are responsible enough to use said account. Some ages slip through the cracks, but business know they cannot enforce payment of a person who their state says is not yet an adult. The most young ones to receive credit cards is one just entering college. That is a bad spin. I think most states will say a person is considered an adult at the age of 21.

I agree with everyone here sweetie.  by law if you default (don't pay) your credit card bill and no one co-signed for you (making them liable to pay) then the credit card company cannot go after you for payment until you reach the ripe old age of 18.  you cannot enter into any contract until you are 18 yrs. Old and a credit card has to be signed making it a contract for you to pay.  sorry, but it is true!♥
