You aren't supposed to pay taxes on SS, pension may be another matter, you are one of lucky ones, cause the young folks today have never had the opportunity for pension, so I would say they same percentage as you had withheld from your salary. My mother in law draw SS & deceased husbands pension, and doesn't pay any taxes, but she is 84. After 70, I don't think you need worry about any taxes.
