The purpose of Tesco is to supply a wide range of goods which it sells, both in store and online. It also offers financial services such as its own credit card, personal loans and various types of insurance, in addition to providing a home delivery service to its online shoppers.

Tesco's are mainly known for selling food - but they sell lots of other products: Insurance, mobile phones, credit card.  They are gradually taking over the world to the loss of our corner shops.

A good place to start is with their mission statement, which you can find here. The same review has plenty of other information about Tesco too, so it's worth exploring.

You can actually find sample essays on this topic at www.coursework.inf - the only snag is, you have to register to see the full essay. But at least you can get ideas on how to start, even if you don't register.
