I was 10 days late on my car loan from LOCO credit union ,My car was taken from my home via tow on June10, th. I went in to the bank to pay them the one late payment and they refused the payment. I was never called via telephone nor was a notified in writing via registered mail or any other way that LOCO credit union was taking my care. I was told to get a new loan from another place. I lost my job the following day because I had no car. Then on June 19, 2009, LOCO credit union took my car payment out of my acct with out my permission after they had my car for 10 days. They also froze my acct. Is this legal? What is my recourse?
