I believe it depends on the city you live in and the county you live in also.  Not just the state.  Each county and town may have different laws.  Call your local court house or a local attorney and ask some question they can probably give you the most accurate information I would suggest.

No the state sets all laws in regards to repossession and has restricted any city or county from changing them.

After repossession of a vehicle, am I able to remove aftermarket parts (rims,stereo,etc.) that I purchased?

In short , no ... If the item is attached to the vehicle is is considered part of the repossessed vehicle and there for part of the collateral held by the lender

Not in Oregon.
State law is geared to protect the consumer. City and County do not address this issue.

I was giting gas and the repoman pinked my car up and told me that I was six month late on paying. I was not so my question is can I souen the repossession for pinking my car up and saying that in font of the store.
