Depends were you live and whether or not they gave you notice. In most provinces of canada if they gave you no notice they have 10 days to pay up but if they did give you notice the next regular payday and if they still don't then they got 3 extra days. In the states the employer must pay you from the time you got fired to 3 days later with or without notice. If you quit its the next regular payday and if they still don't pay then they have another 3 days to pay. If they refuse to pay file a complaint to your local labour office, but if they accuse you of theft all the same rules apply as above they can't withhold your paycheck so talk to a police officer about the accusations so work that problem out. If you have further questions check your state or province labour laws website.
