Most times you would receive the check three days after you file to claim that week/weeks if direct deposit its only two days wait. And for the amount you can check it out at your UI website after you log into your account, not all states have this data online, if not you can call them and it will tell you the check amount plus your balance.

It depends on the state but most states will issue you a card and it can take up to 2-3 weeks.  But you will get the money for those weeks minus your waiting week (the first week that you have filled you get no money)
