How Do You Qualify For Section 8 Housing?
I'm a full time student , I work part time and I'm on unemployment . I have 2 kids one in college one going to college in september ( she graduates in june )
I want to know if is true that they going to take away section 8 people that have it
You would have to ask section 8 the qualified. I know they go according to your income, substandard housing, living in a shelter.
If you qualify for section 8 they will send you a letter saying that you are eligible for supportive housing and to bring certain documents in to get you to the top of the waiting list so you can get your voucher and to be looking for a unit for the amount of bedrooms that you qualify for. They only way you can't get housing in any state is if you have a felony for drugs..thats the way it work in the state of Nebraska..I don't really know how it works in the state you in for felonies..
I only made approx 22K last year. The owners of the home I currently rent would make their home a section 8 to keep me here. I recently lost my job. Is there a fast way to get qualified?
