Waiting lists for Section 8 housing are closed in most California locations.
When can I apply for section 8 housing?
The lists will remain closed until all the families registered on the list have been offered housing.
Unfortunately, the list is long - and the wait therefore might be substantial.
If you want to apply for section 8 housing, your best bet is to contact the relevant Public Housing Association and inquire about details. You can find details for all the Californian PHA departments here.
