Nope! I've been dealing with the same small town local bank since I've been getting a paycheck. I know all of the employees on a first name basis and they call me by my first name when I'm there.
Wells Fargo fired 5,300 employees because they opened over 1,500,000 + bogus checking accounts. Is this your bank?
Yes it is and I'm moving on.
NO WAY ! I had Wells Fargo many years ago and had nothing but trouble. Switched to a smaller local bank and have been happy ever since.
I am glad to know that, Jan...
Wells Fargo was indeed my bank for a while, it was good when I was traveling, branches everywhere...my WF banker in Bellingham, WA bailed me out of what could have been a bad snafu, also, when I was traveling.
But after arriving in Iowa, I changed...a local Iowa bank...have managed to stay with them so far, even though I am now in Washington State. I prefer small hometown banks...wonder if you have suggestions, from your background?
Nope - had banking with them many years ago, and my experience was pretty much like the rest of the people here. Went to a tiny, small town bank - which got bought out by a regional bank. Which got bought out by a bigger yet bank, and they got scoped up by, yes, Wells Fargo. Now I do everything I need done thru a nice local credit union.
I'm confused. Are you upset because the employees were caught making bogus checking accounts and were fired? If they were doing something they weren't supposed to be doing, isn't that a good thing they were caught or am I missing something?
