How do I check my bank account on my cell phone?

Call your bank, ask them to enable online banking. In most cases, even an account manager or clerk will be able to help you with this. It's not a lengthy procedure.

In some instances, banks will also offer an app that you can download your phone to access your account and manage transactions more easily.

Even if this sounds complicated, you do not need to be tech savy at all.

They will make you aware of the possibility of this solution when you enquire about online banking, and then guide you through it if you need help (my bank had someone install it for me when I went to the branch, and then they spent some time showing me how it worked).

Just remember though, not all banks have this technology available yet.
