Hello Bhanu, if its a formal course you will have to attend the hours of lectures and seminars that are part of the course and this varies depending on college or university. We all learn at different rates, some more quickly than others and you have to put in the time, you think you need to be successful at what you want to achieve. Are you a quick learner, can you research fast, what skills would you need to improve, to reduce your hours of study.... For example good organisation helps, knowing what outcome you want, what areas are your strengths in, and what areas are you not so strong in - weaker at, you'll soon find out, but if you know, you might have to put extra time into a weaker area because that aspect of the course is essential. There might be others which are not so essential and you can miss these out - it is specific to the course.
