Buffet is in the private sector so he won't release them, but the GOP want to see what everybody knows anyway - most of what he earns is derived from capital gains which is taxed at the 15% rate rather than the much higher income tax rate.Which is pretty hypocritical of Buffet since he proposed his seminal Buffet Rule.
