I think the best tool I have ever seen for the simple analysis is MS Excel. In this program the managers can do all kinds of mathematical and statistical calculations and they can also do regression analysis and can calculate the growth of the company and how the factors in the economy can impact the company. Graphical analysis can be also carried out with the MS Excel.
