One example could be the UK supermarket chain Waitrose. They are known for always buying local produce whenever possible, and refusing to stock goods which have been unethically produced, for instance, eggs from chickens kept in cruel conditions. It used to be thought that these principles made Waitrose too expensive, but now they are growing fast and other stores are copying them.
