Well from what I know that if you forgot to file your weekly unemployment you will need to go back to the unemployment office and tell them you forgot to claim for the week in question.
Now if you miss three weeks, they will close your case and you will have to reopen it and start where you left off. That mean you are not stating a new case, you will be on the same one.
