Actually, a 1099 MISC for non-employee compensation does not have to be filed for less than $600.00.
What Is The Limit Before You Are 1099?
It has always been 600.00 in the past, check current IRS guidelines for 2009 to be sure...
The IRS says you must report earnings of 650.00 or more...,the last time I checked (a year or so.).
