Net First Platinum (the company apparently based in Pennsylvania, Indiana) is described by its site and advertisements as a card with a credit limit of $500, which is approved to you as soon as you get a card; anyone can apply with most receiving a card; and it has no interest rate at all. There is a monthly fee of $24.95 and a $5 processing fee. However, people who apply are told to also send an activation fee, and, when they do so, given a date upon which they will receive their card.  Some claim to get their new card, others not - but regardless of this, those who have given their details to the company find money has been taken out of their accounts without their authorisation, which obviously causes a host of problems such as the obvious loss of money, possibly having to close an account and open a new one - all of this causing huge amounts of unnecessary stress and upset. Not only this, but the card itself, if you do receive it, can only be used on a specific website - it is a merchant card and won't be accepted anywhere else. The advice from all over the place is to stay away from Net First Platinum at all costs, and only get a card you know is safe. You don't want to be anyone's victim!

I also just received a Net First Platinum with an unsecured $500 limit and it can only be used online at www.thehorizonoutlet.com to buy some cheap crap.  I don't remember soliciting this card and it seems like some kinda scam to me perhaps.

I gave them my cc # from another cc card holder that firm denied the transaction even though there is the credit avaliable!!! You decide I'ts out come I will deny the card, and did you do the proper security checks for safe web sights. Even though fdic may bail out, ask yourself the followings ?'s is my info that important on such high end interests rates for a non-secure sight, and how many 3rd cookies are watching. My add vice if it's to good to be true then it usually is. Check your sights with you security then proceed with caution. Thank you OZZFEST666 if a sight wants money up front beware!!!!!

I have recieved other e-mails from card holders and to my dissmay i found one to be legitamate and so far secure with very little up front info and could find all info on the business as well as reload center for the card. As my experience has gone it has been a success so far with no problems and the card holder is www.netspend.com, no money up front, no over drafts, and a small overdraft credit for emergencies, free direct deposit, many reload companies at no charge, to many to listcheckitout

Yes it is. It will not help your credit. If you go to nettrustplatinum.com and look at the top of the page you'll notice a small scroll bar. Read it. It specifically says that it will in no way help or establish your credit. Do your research people!!!!!

Net First is a credit card/debit card. But they charge everytime you use it or put money on it. It is a pre-pay card that you put your money on at various places that recharge cards, ie; Western Union. So besides placing money on it, you have to pay 8.50 fee. Green Dot is a great Pre-Paid card that does not charge you to use and the load fee is very cheap.

P.s.
Net First will charge you a 56.00 fee to your credit report if you do not use within a certain amount of time, I believe it's a year. So yeah I've learned all about the pre-paid and I'm good with Green Dot. You can find this at any major store.

This credit card is not even a credit card. I heard they make you pay a fee of 150 dollars and you can't even use the card. Supposedly they have a limited amount of businesses that accept their credit cards. Read up the complaints on www.scambook.com

You can't buy, but the CC provider (bank) sends you it, after seeing your transactions on your previous CC cards.
