Are The Unemployment Checks Late In Michigan. Mine Normally Comes On Wed.?

There is a holdup on all unemployment checks in MI due to the 75 dollar stimulus being distributed this week. I just read that on the news. I didnt get mine today either and I normally would. Found out at the gas station after pumping my gas. Lol. I will call and check next time. Anyways you should get your money by Friday. And probably an extra 75 with it. Hope this helps!!

I got the same answer when I called this morning. Due to the overload of the extra $75 the state had been holding finally being released, it burdened the system and put payments behind. I agree with Toddl1964, doing the math on the number of recipients of the retro amount, about $45 million, makes you wonder what they did with the money. Or even the interest! And now we're all waiting at least an extra 2 days for our regular checks.

This sucks! I'm a monday caller and I have yet to see any kind of money what so ever! I know one thing for curtain and that's if I don't get it this Friday, I'll have to wait an entire week at least since the day I certified. I hate this unemployment thing. It's hard to adjust when you are use to getting a check from your employer every week.

I Called today and asked why my check was late and they said as of May 6 at 10.30 am there boss said they were going to be late! Due, to the $75  we all got!  She said by-  they  them posting us are $75, they got behind! And to give it a extra day or 2! Gosh, so sad I have bills that can't wait!!

Hey, What did they ( State Government ) spend the money on ? Are they robbing Peter to pay Paul ? Something is not right with this ? No other state has had this problem. I smell stinky cheese ? I to am waiting. My heart goes out to the ones that needed the money on a timely basis.

Mine didn't come either, and I had no idea about it being late, I tried to withdrawal at the atm like I always do, and it charged me 1.50 for insufficient funds....I wonder if I will get that back, I had a few bucks still on the card or they couldn't have took it

We are also wondering this. My wife is laid off and after calling MARVIN on Monday it told her the money would be there Tuesday but as of today, she still has not received it. I'm hoping they're just running a bit late this week as well.

I am a monday caller as well....I received the $75.00 on monday..and that was it (no regular check). It is making me a bit nervous.  (maybe they should Hire another marvin to cover the work load as most organizations would do.)  I guess I will call again on Thursday or Friday to see what is up just like the rest of the million extension workers.

I havent even received the conformation form in the mail from when I applied for the extension, but I did receive benefits (don't know how many weeks I will get until I get the form!!) ...so they must be pretty behind.
