Did the knee surgery not improve your knee problems?
You can only get disability if your doctor says you are so disabled you can not work.  But people in wheel chairs can work so I doubt very much you can get disability.  Unless you can only do a job that requires you to stand or walk that would be a problem for your knees?  Your disability payment depends on how much you have earned in the work force your entire work life.  So everyone is different.  Most likely you will be told to be retrained to do something that would not bother your knees.  I wish you well
